PRESIDENT -

John Naab was reelected for a second term as President for 2007. He currently owns his own software development company and along with having several nice RC planes, drives a shiny new Corvette.

This is a picture of John with an airplane which some believe he still has (although no one’s seen it for some time). Most recently he's been seen flying a Great Planes U-Can-Do.

VICE PRESIDENT

Although Evan Wenger has only been a club member for a short time, he’s quickly become a favorite at the field. He’s a championship combat competition flier and has won several events when there were as many as two other contestants. This is a picture of him launching one of his combat planes.

Evan began his career flying off carriers for the Navy and finished up flying for Delta Airlines.

SECRETARY

John Larson has been the club secretary for longer than most people have been alive and he works tirelessly at creating new, and maintaining the current improvements at the field. He’s the one that made the sign at the field along with the pilot stations and the plane stands.

John is responsible for memberships and the newsletter so if you’d like to join the club or get something included in the newsletter, contact him at jrlarsen@wans.net

For anyone looking to get some personal flight training either "stand by" or on the "buddy box", John's also the man to see.

Treasurer

Hank Hamner is the man in charge of the money so be nice to him. His latest airplane acquisition is a Hangar 9 Showtime 90 equipped with an OS120AX and some of the fastest high torque digital servos available. I saw him maiden it and it sure is nice.

Hank (holding the fish), enjoys fishing as well as flying. Here he is catching bait fish for use later in the day. Although he managed to get some good bait fish that day, unfortunately he got skunked on the actual fishing trip. Better luck next time Hank.

Safety Officer

Danny is often seen walking the field with a frequency monitor looking to verify that all in use frequencies are properly marked on the frequency board. Beyond that, he's ever vigilant in his efforts to keep things at the field operating in a safe manner.

At each of the club's monthly meetings, he presents whatever he's found to be of concern to the club and its members pertaining to safety.
